Privatisation hurts efficiency and drives up prices.

Today the ACCC chief Rod Simms has declared that privatising public assets like the electricity grid “has created unregulated monopolies that hurt productivity and damage the economy”. We would add to this that it is also seriously effecting the environment both now and in the future.
